    The trenchless modified polypropylene (MPP) protective pipe for power cable is a new type of plas-

tic pipe made of modified polypropylene with special formulation and processing technology. It has a 

series of advantages, such as high strength, good stability, easy to pierce discharge cable, simple con-

struction and cost saving. As pipe jacking construction highlights product personality, it meets the de-

velopment requirements of modern cities and is suitable for buried depth in the range of 2-18M. Mo-

dified MPP power cable casing is constructed by Trenchless technology, which not only guarantees 

the reliability of the pipeline network, reduces the failure rate of the pipeline network, but also greatly

Performance of MPP power pipe:

    It has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and external pressure resistance, and is sui-

table for high voltage transmission lines and cables above 10KV. MPP pipe (modified polypropylene 

pipe) in trenchless engineering is widely used in urban power cables, building water supply and drai-

nage laying and other fields.

    MPP trenchless pipe does not need excavation construction. Hot-melt welding flexible joint of pipe

 material has high strength and can be used for ultra-long and high traction towing pipe.

    It has good toughness and excellent Anti-subsidence and anti-seismic performance. Common pipes

 can be divided into common type and reinforced type. The common type is suitable for excavation

and paving works and trenchless crossing projects with buried depth less than 4 meters, while the 

reinforced type is used for Trenchless crossing projects with buried depth greater than 4 meters.


The advantages of MPP power pipe:

  1. Excellent electrical insulation.

  2. Higher thermal deformation temperature and low temperature impact performance.

  3. The tensile and compressive properties of HDPE are higher than those of HDPE.

  4. Light weight, smooth, small friction force, hot fusion welding butt joint.

  5. Long-term service temperature is 15-70 ℃.

    Municipal, telecommunications, power, gas, tap water, thermal and other pipeline projects.

    The trenchless horizontal directional drilling electric power pipe drainage project in urban and rural

 areas and the open excavation electric power pipe drainage project.

    Unexcavated horizontal directional drilling sewage drainage and drainage works in urban and rural 

areas. Industrial wastewater discharge engineering.

    Construction Notes for MPP Power Pipe.

    During the transportation and construction of MPP power pipe, throwing, impact, characterization

 and exposure are strictly prohibited.

    When the MPP power pipe is hot melt butted, the axes of the two pipes should be aligned and the 

end face should be cut vertically and smoothly.
